• Once Upon a Time

    3 bottles – Once upon a time, there was an idea, one that grew over the years, with each vintage telling its own story. To celebrate the Festive Season and the moments we share with our loved ones, we crafted this vertical selection to invite you on a journey through time, to taste the evolution of our signature wine, vintage after vintage. Don Vincenzo is a tribute to Giovanni’s father, Vincenzo, who believed in his son’s vision and supported the creation of one of the first organic wineries in Tuscany – a pure Sangiovese, carefully selected from the single vineyard La Vigna di Don Vincenzo and crafted only in the finest vintages.

     The 2010 vintage  combines intensity and elegance in perfect harmony. The bouquet presents complex aromatic layers of spice, dark fruits and herbs.

    The new vintage of Don Vincenzo shows aromatic freshness and pleasant fruity notes, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant, lingering finish.

    2 Inversus 2016

    A wine of harmony and depth, from the exclusive 2016 vintage in our cellar. The 90% merlot provide a velvety texture and a rich bouquet of cherries, wild berries, and subtle hints of chocolate, balanced by the spicy notes of 10% Sangiovese, evoking the warm essence of fall season. This vintage enhance the distinctive characters of both grapes, perfect by itself or with a sweet treat at the end of a long festive day.

  • Rosso Maniero 2020

    Tra i vini IGT (indicazione geografica tipica), Fattoria Casaloste in alcune annate imbottiglia il Rosso Maniero. Il nome è l’omaggio che Giovanni Battista ha voluto fare all’antichissima scuola militare di Napoli “Nunziatella” che lo ha visto allievo dal 1974 al 1978.  Questo vino (composto prevalentemente da uve sangiovese e da un blend di altri vitigni aziendali a bacca rossa), esprime tutto lo spirito goliardico e giovanile ma allo stesso tempo rigoroso e rispettoso delle tradizioni, cosi come la Scuola che da più di 200 anni risiede a Pizzofalcone, nel cuore di Napoli. Questa Scuola Militare, voluta dai Borboni di Napoli, fu fondata nel 1787 dal Generale Giuseppe Parisi con lo scopo di formare la classe dirigente e i futuri ufficiali del Regno delle due Sicilie. Il suo motto “Preparo alla vita ed alle armi” incarna il sacrificio e la volontà di schiere di allievi che con le loro storie hanno contribuito al lustro ed allo sviluppo della nostra Patria : l’Italia.

  • Inversus Super Tuscan 2019

    Dal 2003 – e solo nelle migliori annate – Casaloste imbottiglia un superbo IGT ( Indicazione Geografica Tipica) : l’ Inversus. Il suo nome è stato ispirato da una particolare condizione genetica (in latino “Situs Viscerum inversus”) con cui è nato il terzogenito di Giovanni ed Emilia, Federico,  che vede tutti i principali organi viscerali posizionati in maniera speculare, senza comportare per Federico alcun problema di salute.

    Con questo vino, che mostra  l’impronta digitale di Federico al centro dell’etichetta, si è voluto interpretare l’imprevedibilità della natura e la capacità che spesso ha di essere speculare a se stessa. Inversus,  infatti, è un vino che segna una” inversione” di approccio rispetto agli altri vini aziendali. E’ una nuova interpretazione del territorio, capace di esprimere non soltanto la grandezza del suo principale vitigno, il Sangiovese ,ma anche del Merlot che nella terra di Panzano in Chianti trova un’eccellente espressione delle sue potenzialità.
