Year Description:a mild, rainy spring and a very hot but dry summer, with less temperature variation between day and night. Thanks to these characteristics the grapes reached optimal ripeness without losing balance or structure. Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2015 has all the features that distinguish the wines of this vintage: rich, elegant and well structured. Ripe fruit notes (black cherries, plums, red and dark berries), complemented by tobacco and elegant earthy tones, spices, dried herbs and dark cocoa. Full bodied, with firm but polished tannins and a long elegant finish.
